Welfare Benefits

We can provide computer-assisted benefits checks, advice and form-filling, fully tailored to individual needs.
 

Tribunal Representation

We provide representation at welfare benefit, local authority and Inland Revenue & Customs tribunals, given availability.  There is also opportunity for video conferencing.

Community Care

We can give information on paying for home care, the Independent Living Fund and Direct Payments and refer to the relevant agencies as appropriate.

Housing Options

Provision of information regarding appropriate accommodation, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit and Local Housing Allowance.

Mobility

If you need to know about the Blue Badge Scheme, the Motability Scheme, accessible transport or any mobility issue that can help you plan your journey, we have information that can help.

Leisure

The Helpline keeps up-to-date records of the many clubs, societies and organisations for disabled people and their carers, locally and nationally.

Holiday Information

We hold up-to-date information on organisations that arrange travel insurance and accessible holidays for disabled people and their carers.

Equipment

We provide information on suppliers dealing with disability equipment, places where equipment can be tried out and the availability for hire.

Signposting

If we cannot help you directly, we hold a database of contacts from a wide range of local and national organisations who are specialised in all areas of disability.
